A WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING FOR BASTROP, CALDWELL, CALHOUN,  COLORADO, DE WITT, FAYETTE, GOLIAD, GONZALES, JACKSON, KARNES, LAVACA, VICTORIA, AND WHARTON COUNTIES.

* TIMING…FROM 10 AM UNTIL 6 PM.

  • WINDS…20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.
  • IMPACTS…DRIVING HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES MAY BE DIFFICULT ON EAST TO WEST ORIENTED ROADS. HIGH WINDS COULD DISPLACE  LOOSE ITEMS SUCH AS TRASH CANS AND LIGHT PATIO FURNITURE. LOOSE OBJECTS AND COULD RESULT IN MINOR PROPERTY DAMAGE  AND WILL MAKE OPEN WATERS OF AREA LAKES VERY CHOPPY AND DANGEROUS.
