TTR Weekend Weather Update January 5, 2018 • No Comments •Country Music News Local News A gradual warming trend will take place through the weekend. A weak cold front moves through late Sunday night into Monday morning, bringing a low chance for showers and storms to most areas. Temperatures will remain near or slightly above normal for Monday through Wednesday. Today: Cloudy with periods of rain and drizzle early in the morning, then partly cloudy in the late morning and afternoon. Highs in the upper 50s. Southeast winds 5 mph. Tonight: Clear. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows around 40. Southeast winds 5 mph. Saturday: Partly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs in the mid 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Saturday Night: Warmer. Mostly cloudy. Patchy drizzle through the night. Patchy fog after midnight. Lows in the lower 50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers. Highs in the lower 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph increasing to south 15 mph in the afternoon. Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy before midnight then becoming partly cloudy. Chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 40s. Chance of rain 40 percent. Monday Through Tuesday: Mostly clear. Highs in the mid 60s. Lows in the lower 40s. Tuesday Night And Wednesday: Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 40s. Highs in the upper 60s. Fire weather concerns are expected to be low throughout the next several days. Min RH values are expected to stay well above critical values through the next 7 days. Winds will generally stay below 15 mph through Sunday morning before increasing to 15-20 mph and shifting from southeasterly to southwesterly in the afternoon hours Sunday. A weak cold front is expected late Sunday as well, shifting winds to the north. In Texas, local governments are empowered to take action on the behalf of those they serve. When drought conditions exist, a burn ban can be put in place by a county judge or county commissioners court prohibiting or restricting outdoor burning for public safety.
