The Hot Attacks
Friday, June 3rd
THE HOT ATTACKS are a band of blues brothers from Victoria, TX, that strive to preserve roots blues, while also offering something new, in an old school way. Highly influenced by the blues greats of the 20’s through the 80’s, The Hot Attacks cover blues styles from Chicago to The Gulf Coast. Performing tunes so old, you’ll think they’re new, this band brings the blues that’s guaranteed to move your shoes!
THE HOT ATTACKS have been featured in many publications, including recent articles in Texas Now Magazine, Victoria In Motion, and The Victoria Advocate. They have performed in front of thousands at festivals all over South Texas, such as the Rockport Art Festival, Boot Fest, and Mardi Gras. Danny Vivian of Victoria In Motion quotes, “With a reputation for tight blues and rock sets, The Hot Attacks not only play great music, they are great individual musicians.” Texas Now Magazine wrote, “These guys have been making waves all over the Texas Coastal Bend. Don’t miss out when they’re this close!!!”
THE HOT ATTACKS are regarded as “South Texas’ Premier Blues Band” due to their passionate drive to provide quality performances night after night since the late 80’s. The group excels in the ability to get LOUD, but also is comfortably capable of adapting to an intimate, quite scene, grooving in the mood. This is what makes them suitable to perform at any venue, of any size, at any time. Along with covering the blues masters, The Hot Attacks also provide original Blues/Rock tunes, paired with exquisite showmanship that keeps the crowd coming back for more.
THE HOT ATTACKS recorded and released their debut CD, “Pile Of Blues,” in 2015, which has been well received by the fans. Currently the group is working on their second album, writing new material daily. It is scheduled for release in 2016. You can currently find The Hot Attacks merchandise on Etsy.com, as well as at live shows.
THE HOT ATTACKS are active members of the Texas Music Commission.
